Ms. Anselment joined Zack Stamp Consulting, LLC in January 2008.  Her focus is in government relations.

As a registered lobbyist in Illinois, Ms. Anselment’s government relations practice involves representing a wide range of business and trade association clients before the Illinois General Assembly and State agencies. This representation includes assisting in the preparation, amendment, passage and defeat of legislation, appropriations and regulations.

Ms. Anselment previously served for five years as the chief education advisor to Illinois House Speaker Michael J. Madigan. She staffed various House committees including Elementary & Secondary Education, Appropriations - Elementary & Secondary Education, Higher Education, Appropriations - Higher Education and Computer Technology. She was responsible for analyzing all legislation and related amendments assigned to these committees. She was also responsible for drafting and negotiating the annual budgets for agencies and boards reporting to these committees (Illinois State Board of Education, Teachers Retirement System, Board of Higher Education, Education Labor Relations Board, Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Illinois Community College Board, State Universities Retirement System, and all nine Illinois public universities).

Ms. Anselment is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Illinois University where she earned her Bachelors degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. While at Eastern, she served on the Illinois Board of Higher Education as the voting student member.
